Today was my last class as a study abroad student in Rome. The feeling is bittersweet, although a bit more bitter than sweet because there are so many things I will miss about my adopted city. For my friends here with me or others who have studied here, these are a few indicators that Rome became our second home.
1. You have to have at least two cappuccinos and/or espresso a day
2. You brought an umbrella to protect you from the infamous Starling migration
According to my professor "they are here", but fortunately we didn't witness them.
3. Drunken Ship and Scholars karaoke? Need I say more?
4. Your local shoe store recognized you...
Sometimes, I would go twice a day just to look at all the pretty things.
5. La Prosciutteria = pot of pure gold
6. Sometimes you stumble upon ancient ruins and it's nbd
7. You feel really cool because you live by the Vatican where a really cool Pope lives
Point is: study abroad in Roma! You won't regret it!
