The East and West Coast are different in their own ways. However, things change when you start to observe states individually. While Oregon may have the chic cafes, Virginia has hunting season. Down below, you'll find seven signs that will assure someone is from California.

1. Vague Directions

No matter how vague directions are, they'll understand. Why? Because they're from California, obviously.

2. " I'm from California"

Never fear the Californians will make sure that their Californian status is known. It's in their blood or something.

3. Wildfires

If your lungs aren't full of ash, then you're not from California.

4. A Juice Diet is like a MUST


If you haven't juiced before, are you even from California?

5. California is NOT "Cali"

Let's be honest, Californians just aren't with the whole "Cali" thing. It's California.


6. Hollywood


If you have ever traveled out of state, and announced your Californian status people just automatically think you live in Hollywood.

7. In-n-Out is Heaven

Sorry to break it to you, but if you haven't eaten In-N-Out at least once then you're definitely not from California. In-N-Out is as popular as Starbucks, they're literally on every Californian corner.
