Netflix has become a highly prioritized part of every day life for most people- or at least it has for me. Countless hours have been spent by me just lounging around on my bed or the living room couch with some snacks and binge watching the latest selection of TV shows. Here's a list compiled of my personal favorites and some highly recommended shows from other people for your next Netflix binge.

1. Grey's Anatomy

If you're looking for a drama filled series then Grey's Anatomy is perfect for you. Follow the doctors of probably the most emotionally unstable hospital in the U.S. This show is filled with heartbreak, turmoil, and love.

2. Parks and Recreation

This show is one of the funniest I have ever watched. The documentary style of the show follows the employees of the parks and recreation department of the city Pawnee, Indiana. The witty commentary and personality of each character is sure to have you watching for six hours straight.

3. Criminal Minds

This show follows an elite team of FBI profilers who track down the most psychopathic serial killers. Some episodes are a little more nerve racking and intense than others, but don't worry, the rich commentary of Dr. Spencer Reid will always make you feel safe, even in the most terrifying times.

4. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

More of a vulgar comedy, but still incredibly funny. This has to be one of the most hilarious shows on TV right now. Watch the owners of Paddy's Pub in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania get into a whole bunch of shenanigans and break a few laws along the way. Don't be alarmed by their stupidity, they're still great people.

5. Glee

This drama filled show gets a bad rep, but it's honestly really good. Follow the students of McKinley High's Glee Club start from scratch with a few losers to becoming a hit sensation among the school and other glee clubs across the country.

6. The Office

Another documentary type of show, but this time instead of a government branch, it's a paper office. The witty humor made by everyone as they work is sure to make you laugh if you're having a bad day.

7. Orange is the New Black

A classic series made by Netflix. Also really vulgar, but so good. The inmates of Litchfield federal prison are a blend of crazy, manipulative, and semi-normal. Each inmate has their own story and when they come together you can always expect something to go down.

Whenever you feel lazy and just want to sit back and enjoy a good binge, remember these couple shows and I guarantee you that you'll be hooked by the end of the first season.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
