I'm telling you right now to room with your best friend if you want to. There have been numerous studies telling you to do the exact opposite. You're told to run the other direction because it will ruin your friendship. Well those studies are wrong and heres 7 reasons rooming with your best friends will complete your life.

They will take on every cheat day with you.

So you want to skip the gym today and pig out on some really good Thia food. Chances are your best friend gone roommate will be down to join you.

Your place is a judgment free zone.

No matter your past or your strange hobbies best friends love you for you. And if you want to sit on the couch for 12 hours watching Grey's Anatomy reruns they don't care. They might even be right beside you doing the same thing.

If you need someone at 3:00am on a Tuesday they are there for you.

Whether it's a ride home from a tinder mistake or you need a hug because life is getting to be a little too much. Your roommate is never too far away to come to your rescue.

When you bring a bad guy home your best friend isn't going to let that happen.

Best friends look out for each other and if Chad from Palace Coffee wants to take you out and your roommate knows Chad has a girlfriend or Chad is a bad guy they are going to be brutally honest. You'll be mad at first but Chad is bad and they are doing you a favor.

You can share everything.

Okay so maybe not everything but for the most part if you need to raid their closet its up for grabs. And if they make dinner its probably for two and you can have some.

They keep you in check.

If it's time to get yourself together they are going to tell you. When it's been a little to long since you went out last you'er going to hear about it. If that outfit is just not cutting it they will tell you. Brutal honesty is no stranger in ya'll's home.

Unlimited venting time.

Your day turned sour or someone just really ticked you off. Good thing you live with your best friend and you can vent to her when ya'll both get home.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way.
