7 Reasons Winter Actually Isn't The Greatest Season

Some people love winter. I, for one, hate it. It is cold and miserable and it gets everyone on my case. Yes, I agree that it is pretty. I like watching the snow fall. I like when it is all silent and the snow looks like it has a layer of glitter on it. I just don't like the cold. It could appeal to the aesthetic, but don't expect me to stop complaining. Here are seven reasons why winter is the absolute worst season of them all:

1. Shoes

I hate wearing shoes when I don't have to. I love my shoes though. Heels, sneakers, boots, sandals, etc. The winter means snow and when the snow melts, it means water is going to be everywhere. If you don't have the proper cleaning supplies, then there goes your fresh Timberlands. UGG boots get destroyed in the winter because people think the fuzzy ones are made for winter. Wrong. That is what snow UGGs are for. Lots of shoes get destroyed.

2. Puffy Coats

Puffy coats are nice and warm. They have fuzzy hoods and everything. The only problem is trying to move. You feel like a scarecrow because you don't have full mobility. Sometimes, they aren't even fashionable, but they are warm. Your mother says that is the only thing that is important. They got nicer throughout the years but still ever so constricting.

3. Ice

Ice starts to form everywhere, even when you think you salted everything. You best believe that you are going to witness more than your fair share of people falling all over the place.

4. It's cold

It is cold all the time. I get it that it is winter, but I get cold too easily. I get cold in the summer, now imagine in the winter. Some people just don't do well with cold and it is the worst time of year for us because we feel like we can never get warm.

5. People move too slow

Just because it is winter does not mean for you to start walking or driving slow. I get it, It is slippery and dangerous but sometimes it isn't. It is just cold and people want to walk like they are the Queen of England. I still have places to go.

6. Snow coming up to your knees

Sometimes, it comes up more than that. It just adds to coldness factor. Winter what are you doing? People get happy because it means they can sleep in or not go to class. I been stuck in my dorm for three days....it is not as fun as it seems.

7. The commitment to shoveling

It is that time of year where everyone has to shovel. Even when you don't even own a car. It is the only way to get somewhere. Either you are trudging through snow or putting the effort and commitment to keeping the sidewalk shoveled. Most importantly. you gotta shovel that car spot.

Winter seems like more work than it should be. Yeah, you can have fun with it, but the cold just isn't for me. I'd rather be warm than cold. For you winter people, kudos to you!

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
