"There are plenty of fish in the sea" says every optimistic human looking for love, and they're right, but the problem isn't the quantity of fish in this vast body of land but rather the quality. I've been in a relationship now for seven months with the most God fearing, grace giving, holy seeking man and I'm now here to share with you from experience why falling in love with a man who loves God was the best decision I have ever made in my life.

Reason 1: You always have someone to get you up on Sunday mornings. At 8 o'clock in the morning, sleep can seem to take a larger priority in your head and before you know it you have convinced yourself that one missed Sunday wouldn't hurt anything. It's far too easy to convince your tired self to stay in your warm, comfy bed, but to convince someone else is the (thankfully) hard part. Church is such an important part of a person's faith and having someone to stand beside you and hold you accountable far more rewarding than gaining a couple more hours of sleep.

Reason 2: His morals and values were formed from a place resembling those of God. He loves and respects all those he meets and is slow to judge. He mirrors himself after his Father and you get to experience every part of that. You get to soak up all that love and joy and experience first hand what it's like to feel the love of a man who first loved God.

Reason 3: This one might be found funny or awkward to some but it's one that is so relevant and true. Dating today to most people entails having sex before getting married, but when dating someone who follows the words and ways of the bible they too believe sex is saved for marriage. You get to avoid the explanation of exactly why you are saving yourself for marriage because they too are waiting.

Reason 4: More than likely if they are religious it was started through their parents, meaning they too are religious. Dating a man whose family lives by the word of God means you get to be surrounded even more by faithful, loving people. Seeing the way God touches and works in people's lives is incredible and being able to see that in the family of the man your heart loves, feels even better.

Reason 5: All your problems and troubles are directed to the Lord. When life gets rough and things get rocky it is so easy to turn to earthy things and look for answers, but having someone to remind you that placing your worries in the hands of humans is far less effective than placing it with God, can be one of the greatest reminders. When arguments arise and disagreements occur (and they will), having someone who seeks help and guidance from God is the quickest way to resolving all of a relationships issues.

Reason 6: They put you second, but in the best way possible. No girl wants to be put second to an xbox, phone or friends, but being put second to God is the best second place I could have. God should ALWAYS come first, and your girlfriend/boyfriend is no exception. Get yourself a man who isn't afraid to place you on the back burner for the Lord, because that's how it should be.

Reason 7: You'r boyfriend becomes the mirror image of the person you want to be. He becomes your idol and the person you look up to. You mold yourself around his values and the devotion he has to the Lord. He is someone you never want to let down and so the standards you set for yourself to be the best godly woman you can be ultimately changes you.

We get all our love, patience, grace, humility, forgiveness, joy and wisdom from God and when you fall in love with a man who lives by His word you end up with someone who possess every single one of those attributes. With every day I fall a little more in love with my god fearing boyfriend and fall a little closer to becoming the Godly woman I wish to be.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
