I'm not one to look forward to cold weather. I love being able to wear shorts in December and swim in January. I never cared about the leaves changing, or hay rides or haunted houses. There are, however, a few things I look forward to every autumn.

1. Sports

NHL, NFL, MLS, Premier League, CFB, NBA and MLB postseason games? Sign me up!

2. Halloween

Dressing up and eating lots of candy. What's not to love? (Besides creepy clowns.)

3. Thanksgiving

It doesn't get much better than eating a ton of great food with your family and friends. Plus, football is on as well!

4. Sales

Black Friday and Cyber Monday mean getting everything you've been putting off buying for super cheap.

5. Not-Blistering-Hot Temperatures

We can finally go outside without melting!

6. New TV Shows

Most of our favorite shows come back in the fall, and it's also the time when a lot of new shows premiere. Sorry if I don't see you for the next few months...but just look at all of these shows I have to watch!

7. Horror Movies

It's starting to get dark earlier, and there's a chill in the air. Is there any better time to watch horror movies? (The answer is no.)

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
