7 Reasons Why You Need to Travel With Your Best Friend

Traveling is an amazing part of life that everyone needs to experience, but it can also be a very stressful time - between catching flights and planning excursions, it is important you have the right person by your side. For me, that is my best friend for a few reasons:

1. We both love the same things.

When the person you are traveling with loves to do the same things as you it makes life so much easier and fun. If you are going to travel then it is assumed that you will do some sightseeing and trips. Sometimes it can be hard to decide what to do because different people like to do different things, but with my best friend we agree on all the perfect things to do.

2. She’s already seen me at my worst.

Traveling can be a very stressful time that sometimes brings out the worst in people. I can always count on my best friend to understand and snap me out of a stressful mood.

3. I can be myself.

Going on vacation should be a worry-free time. It makes everything better when I can be my weird self and jam in the car or jump around the hotel room. This is also important because being with someone I know and am comfortable with pushes me to come out of my shell and talk to new people in new places.

4. It’s never awkward.

Nothing is worse than spending a long period of time with someone I am not as comfortable with because I feel like I always have to be talking and doing something to occupy time. With my best friend we don’t care so we could be having a conversation one minute then just hanging out in silence the next.

5. I have my own personal stylist, therapist, accountant, and many more all in one.

No one knows my style, life and ideal budget better than her. She talks me in or out of buying a new Michael Kors bag (usually in though because we always need more Michael) and convinces me that I don’t need that new dress because I have nowhere to wear it to.

6. We never get sick of each other.

My best friend and I spend probably too much time together and my parents always ask if we ever get sick of each other, and the answer is no. It would make sense if we did, but we never do.

7. We make amazing memories that we can talk about forever.

Memories made while traveling are ones that last forever. We always talk about the things we have done and tell everyone we know because we had so much fun and it gets us excited for our next adventure.

We have to travel while we are young and see everything we can while we can. Sharing those memories with one of the people that you are closest to is an amazing opportunity and we all have to take advantage of it before it isn’t an option anymore. Traveling with my best friend means traveling with the person I chose to be a part of my family and I love every second of it.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
