7 Reasons Why Senior is Stressful

Have you ever wondered why your family member or friend happens to be just stressed out all of the time? Are they a senior? Well here are a few reasons why Senior year is stressful.

1. Course loads

My professors believe that it is easier to tell us that they will not have final exams than telling us that we will possibly pull out our hair before the semester is over. As an English major 15 credit hours at my University is basically a full course load, not to mention the fact that I have a Shakespeare class. The biggest thing that you're not told when you start school is that the closer you get to graduation your courses will have unnecessary work.

2. What is Sleep?

You may have noticed the long nights so far but senior year is like one very long day, due to the lack of sleep. All of my days run together and I have to check the date on my phone almost everyday to make sure I am focused on the right things. Some people said that sleeping pills work but those can be addictive so just try to get your work done during the day so you can try to sleep for two hours and make it to class on time.

3. You Spend More Time In Your Professor's Office Than In Your Room.

Welcome back! You need to ask a question? Get caught up? How about asking for extra time for your paper? You probably know your professor's office hours by heart as well as their email address and office phone number. This is probably where you spend most of your time.

4. Random Crying Fits

Have you ever been walking from the library after a long day of studying and paper writing to randomly break down on the way back to your room? You aren't the only one. Under a lot of pressure there just seems to be a lot of unintentional crying fits which are linked more to stress than emotions.

5. You seem to talk to God a lot more.

"God please just let me pass this class with at least a C." We've all been there. It's almost like God has become the only person you talk to consistently, and He's probably the only friend you have now.

6. Family.

Your family may not understand the stress you're under so you may not have anyone to talk to. For majority of us we may be the first one to attend college so our families are just as confused as we are. They may not know what to say or when to call because they've never been here before. Forgive them, you'll probably have to explain yourself.

7. Graduation

"When is graduation?" I'm counting down so .. 6 months 13 days (give or take depending on when you're reading it. The money spent on the things for graduation should seriously be included in tuition, after all this work I have done and money I've paid, you want more? This is a stress all in itself.

But we will walk across that stage proud on the day of graduation, crying tears of "I made it", "I'm not sure how I got here", and "where do I go next?". The stressful issues of being a senior will be behind us very soon, and then we will be hit with the stress of being catapulted into the real world with no preparation. Congrats though!

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer.
