Morning runs make life all the better. Below I have given 7 reasons why your day is better if you start it off with a run. Although starting your morning off with a run may mean having to sacrifice getting up early I believe that at the end of the day it is worth it to get up earlier and run in the morning. I hope I can persuade you to believe the same by the reasons below.
1. It is the best way to start the day.
Starting the day this way normally means its just you. No one else is awake to be texting you or calling you to distract you away from your time to think or pray and prepare for the day. Also if you are going to a gym or track then you are normally the only one there which makes your workout a whole lot better. And on the best days you may even get to the sunrise!
2. You are more awake after a run then a cup of coffee.
By waking your self up naturally by running you will be more awake then any type of caffeine high can give you. And when you get to work or class you have already woken up and are not just running on caffine as the reason you are awake.
3. It starts your day off right and making you feel accomplished.
Starting your day off with a run gives you a sense of accomplishment and confidence that will allow you to enjoy your day more. It also will make you feel confident and accomplished throughout the rest of your day.
4. It helps you get out any emotion you need to get out.
Going for a run in the morning can help you get the frustration from the night before out, or the excitement for the day ahead to be tamed down a bit. By running you can get your emotions sorted into a better state then they were before. Running before a big test or presentation can help you to do better because your excess nerves or adrenaline are released during your run.
5. You don’t have to worry about fitting your run in later in the day.
Now that your run is done in the morning you don’t have to worry about trying to plan it in to your day later or worry that something will come up that will make it not happen
6. It is cooler in the morning then the afternoon.
In the morning it is cooler outside and so your run is not as brutal as in the middle of the day when it is very hot outside.
7. Your day is free to make plans with people later in the day.
Now that your run is over with your day is free to make plans with people during the day or after work and you don’t have to be frustrated if your afternoon or evening plans pop up that you want to do but then your run does not happen.
