7 Reasons To Watch John Oliver
Bustle

1. He makes fun of himself.

From his accent to his impressive resemblance to a parrot, he pokes fun at his own characteristics just as much as anyone else's.

2. So very charming.

John Oliver is a man who immediately makes you swoon from pure charm. Yes, he has that oh-so-irresistible English accent–but he's so much more than just his voice.

3. He's quite intelligent.

There's nothing like an intelligent man. Drop those numbers, John. Gimme those facts.

4. Such a comedic fellow.

It's incredible how a man can be so smart, so charming, yet so goofy at the same time. So professional, yet silly as can be.

5. Makes scary news into something funny (it eases the pain).

Sometimes watching the news can be a bit scary (especially now). But Mr. John Oliver makes the experience of being informed into one of enjoyment, rather than terror.

6. Always dressed to the nines.

This is the largest picture for a reason... Look at that damn suit. So fancy. Well done. I approve.

7. Look. At. Him.

He's such a cute little nerd (in the best of ways). Don't worry John, you're the cutest parrot I've ever seen.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
