Dogs are underrated. They are such sweet and loyal animals and deserve only the best! They are smarter than a lot of people perceive them to be and people need to recognize how amazing they are. I love dogs so much, probably more than I love people. Dogs are amazing animals and here's some reasons why they are so great.

1. They're Adorable

Dogs of all breeds and sizes are adorable. Especially when they're puppies. Just looking at a dog can light up my day. They can make almost anything they do seem cute. That's how amazing they are. Who wouldn't want to look at these cute puppies all day?

2. They Don't Give Up

Even when their food is all over the place, they won't give up. They will fight to eat all of the food in their dish even if they're tired. They'll also shove their faces in your plate of food until you give it to them, dogs are funny like that. Dogs are persistent little animals and work for what they want. Don't underestimate dogs, they know how to get what they want.

3. They Look Funny

Dogs make the most ridiculous expressions. They can be happy or angry, and they'll still look cute just because they always look funny. Happy dogs are my favorite because they express their happiness in the funniest way. Dogs are the most precious animals ever, protect them at all costs.

4. They Let You Dress Them Up

Although they may not always like the process of getting a costume on, they'll usually let it happen. When the process is complete, it's one of the funniest things ever. Dogs are so adorable without clothes on, so when they get a funny costume on, it just makes it even better. What better way to celebrate Halloween than by letting your dog join in on the fun too? But please don't dress your dog up everyday, that stresses me and the dog out.

5. They Know When They've Done Something Wrong

Guilty dogs are some of the cutest dogs ever. It might be annoying to come home and find that your dog has destroyed yet another one of your favorite items, but the look on their face when they know they've done something wrong is priceless. They know what's coming after they get caught and they're awful at being subtle when they've done something they're not supposed to do. It's one of my favorite things about dogs.

6. They're Loyal To Their Owners

Dogs are so loyal to the ones they love. If they think you're in danger, they'll do everything they can to help you. I love watching dogs trying to help their owners when they don't even need any help. Dogs will love you and stay by your side as long as you love them, and there's nothing cuter than a dog being loyal to his or her owner.

7. They're Just So Lovable

I mean, how can you not love dogs? They're so caring and just plain adorable. Dogs are amazing animals and they deserve so much more appreciation than they get. They're some of the most lovable animals and best pets to have. Dogs can be your best friend if you take care of them right.

I can't wait until the day that I can get a dog. There isn't much else that I'm more excited for in the future than owning a dog and getting to spend so much time with one. Dogs are simply the best and nothing can change that.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
