By now, if you don't know who Halsey is you've probably been living under a rock. Love her music, hate her music, it's still undeniable that she is a cinnamon roll of good for this world and I don't know what mankind did to deserve her.

In case you don't know who she is sit back, relax, and enjoy this introduction to this wondrous human being named Ashley Frangipane.

First things first if you've actually never heard her music now is the time

Ghost // Halsey

So why exactly should you love Halsey

1. She's biracial

2. But she acknowledges her privilege as white passing.

3. She can rock literally any and all hair styles

4. Can you say Inter-sectional Feminist?

5. She's Bisexual

6. She writes her own music and the lyrics are great

7. She is a role model for young people like her

In an interview with Justine Harman for ELLE Halsey said, "I don't insist that any of my ideas or opinions are the perfect form, but I've kind of accepted the fact that I'm a role model for a lot of different types. I'm mixed race—my dad is black and my mom is white—and I'm very pale. Growing up there weren't a lot of mixed people in the media who were as pale as I was. I always felt like I was too light to identify with anyone else. I now have girls reach out to me all the time and say, 'I'm mixed race like you and I'm just as white as you are. Thank you for being that for me.' Or, you know, someone reaches out with a mental illness or someone reaches out who is, you know, a feminist. I just like to be the in-between role model—the one I didn't have growing up. At the same time, if I'm going to be a role model, I would rather kids idolize my intention to do good and my intention to be myself and my intention to be different rather than my actions. I think my intentions are more admirable than my actions."

If you're not fully convinced yet that's okay maybe I convinced you to hate her a little less. And don't get me wrong everyone's fave is problimatic and Halsey is no different. However before you can fully judge someone look at the good they've done as well as the bad.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
