First and foremost,The Bugs

When the colder months hit, the bugs tend to go back to hell where they belong. As it is now, flies, wasps, ants, and beetles have taken over and are reigning supreme among us. I don’t know about you but I’m ready to say bye-bye to these pesky pests. Just the same, snakes hibernate during the cold months, which I am definitely more than happy about. With this being said, the timing of their departure can be a bit tedious around my neck of the woods due to the fact that Georgia can stay hot even during the winter months. Last year, I wore a tee shirt and shorts on Christmas. Nevertheless, the bugs are definitely much less in quantity during the Fall and the weather is so much more comfortable. I will take the mild 70 degree weather over the 100 degree days complete with heavy humidity any day of the week. Speaking of weather, this leads me to number 2

The Heat

Good god, it’s been a hot one this year. Walking outside is nothing more than a punch in the face by Satan himself. God forbid you have to work outside in it all day. By the time my poor boyfriend gets home every day, he is borderline heat-stroke from the harsh conditions. It seems like it gets hotter each and every year. Isn’t global warming supposed to push colder air from the ice caps? I love our planet and I care about its future, but a little cold air would be much welcomed right now in the dead of summer.

Pumpkin Everything

Pumpkin pie. Pumpkin Spice Latte. That is all.

Halloween:

Can I get a YASSSSSSSS? Halloween is much more than rowdy children high as a kite on sugar. It’s the time of the year where everyone gets to let out a little bit of their inner dark side. Halloween is like Christmas to some, the time of the year where they celebrate the most. If Halloween is not your thing, please do us all a favor and go back underneath the rock you crawled out from. Also, if you plan on dressing up as Harley Quinn this year, go ahead and ride off on the bandwagon you came in on. Thxxxxx.

The Colors:

Orange, red, yellow, and brown. Something about the way the leaves look as they start to fall is mesmerizing. I don’t know about you, but every year I get so captivated in the beautiful landscapes.

Sweaters and Leggings:

Girl, yes. This may not apply to all. For all the men reading, go ahead and skip to number seven. Unless of course, you too enjoy the comfortable coziness that sweaters and leggings provide. I wouldn’t blame you in the slightest. This is honestly one of the main things I look forward to during the brutal summer months. Boots and scarves are also a major plus. Not only are they comfortable and stylish, a long sweater or even dress can hide the winter weight that pretty much everyone accumulates during the colder months. Even if you’re not concerned with weight gain, most women can agree that we look forward to Fall attire all year round.

The Walking Dead:

YESSSS!!!! FINALLY! Who got Luciled? We are about to find out. I’m taking bets if you want to wager. ;) My vote is on Eugene or maybe even Abraham. Not only is The Walking Dead returning, Grey’s Anatomy, Last Man on Earth, and Once Upon a Time are a few more of my personal favs that have new seasons debuting this Fall. Do you have any TV shows that you are looking forward to? What about the reasons you are looking forward to the Fall season this year? Leave your response in a comment below if you would like. I’m interested to know your opinions! Have a wonderful week and as always thanks for reading. :)

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
