1. Our academics

OU is known for the energy business, meteorology, entrepreneurship, health sciences, Law, journalism, and dance. OU pushes academics hard and it's why we're all here; to get an education, to get a degree and to give back to the Sooner community. I don't play sports so I solely came to OU for the academics, it's definitely more difficult being only an academic student but you make the best out of the experience.

2. Having the most beautiful campus

3. Being surrounded by students everywhere you walk on campus

As of 2017, there are over thirty-one thousand students enrolled at OU. Even though we're a big school, the community feels small and homey; no matter where you go on campus or around Norman, other people will open doors for you and ask you how your day is. It's the small things that matter.

4. Everybody else envies us (because there's only one Oklahoma)

If you get accepted to OU, you're going to OU. How do you reject one of the most amazing and most successful schools in Oklahoma?

5. The extravagant fraternity and sorority houses

6. The greatest football team in America

I mean honestly, who isn't in love with Baker Mayfield by now? He's a legend.

Don't forget about the rest of our talented football team! Pictured above are Mykel Jones (#3), Austin Kendall (#10), and Jordan Smallwood (#17)

7. David Boren (DBo)

DBo is the most amazing OU president ever! He's brought so many great programs and scholarships to OU that he's forever made an impact on the campus. Sadly, he'll be retiring in June and he'll choose a new president to lead us.

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right?
