The pumpkin dropping season has officially ended, which means it's time for holiday romance. Some of you may be newly single and thankful you don't have to drop your paycheck on a gift that'll probably get returned later. Others may be cuddling next to their bae as they clicked this very article. Either way, we can all have relationship goals. Since it's the most wonderful time of the year (and I'm on the brink of insanity from studying for finals) let's take a moment to review why Mother and Father Christmas are #RelationshipGoals.
1. No trust issues.
Santa travels to every country and squeezing through every chimney while Mrs. Claus is chillin' at home by the fire, carefree. Why? Trust. She doesn't listen to those rumors about, "Mommy kissing Santa Claus," the persistent, "ho, ho, ho," jokes and the constant lap dances from women of all ages, as well as the movie portrayals of her that are never quite consistent. She knows that Santa is traveling the world and delivering presents to children everywhere. She respects his philanthropic efforts, and Santa most certainly respects her patience.
2. They've truly grown old together for centuries.
Christmas spirit never dies. While these two have been looking about 75 years old for centuries, but they are truly young at heart. They hang out with elves and eat sweets year-round, all the while maintaining at task with preparations for Christmas each year. Their relationship is as eternal as they are, and they are clearly kids at heart. #Adorbs.
3. They are always coordinating.
There's something about white fur and red velvet that looks so put together during the holiday season, and these two lovebirds really work it.
4. They are truly a power couple.
Sure, he truly only works one night of a year. Yeah, he spends billions on production for his non-profit entrepreneurship, but she stays supportive with cookies in hand. He is successful enough that Mrs. Claus can be the trophy wife she wants to be, but she's always in the kitchen cooking pies for her baby.
5. They are the original Brad and Angelina.
Their hundreds of elves put Brad and Angelina's adoption numbers to shame. Even better? They use their quasi-children for labor. Talk about a family business!
6. PDA? No problem.
7. Age is but a number.
Sure, St. Nicholas has been in folklore since the 13th century, while Mrs. Claus didn't emerge in tales until 1849, but no one ever judges them. Like I said, they're both equally young at heart. Their relationship has truly stood the test of time. Mrs. Claus always seems to be there for Santa providing motivation, Christmas spirit and wisdom whenever he needs it. Furthermore, Santa is one of the only successful old guys not to dump his wife once her hair grayed; Kudos to that, Santa!
