Pigs are known to be one of the smartest animals; even smarter than dogs.
There are lots of videos that go viral of pet pigs. Although a significant portion of our population eats pork products, they can't help but find pet pig videos adorable. There are many attributes as to why pigs are found to be such cute pets.
1. They love to randomly run around.
Pigs will get random bursts of energy just like us, but they are even cuter because of their petite size. They also are adorable for the fact they can sprint fast for how tiny their legs are.
2. They are always down for dancing.
Whether it's Rhianna or any other song, pigs love to wiggle their tail and shake their booty.
3. They are just like children.
Pigs like to root around, so if a pig is kept as a pet it needs enrichment for rooting around. That is where a pig is just like a child and will love playing in a ball pit!
4. They love to swim.
Granted there are "wild" pigs that swim in the Bahamas, pet pigs love to swim at home in their kiddie pools. Nothing like having a buddy to swim with in the summer!
5. They love baths.
As you can tell from the picture, pigs love to play in the water and bubbles make for a fun time. Just like how babies love bubble baths, pigs are the exact same.
6. They love to dress up.
Not only do pet owners dress up their pet, but pig owners dress their pigs up too! And unlike dogs, pet pigs can actually love dressing up!
7. They are loving.
Pigs are also one of the most loving animals. Whether it is playing around with babies or cuddling with their owners pigs will never stop loving you. That is probably why dogs, cats, and pigs are go to choices for a pet.
