Boys come and go, but you know what doesn't? Mexican food. Boys hurt you and lie, but you know what doesn't? Mexican food. Boys can give you cooties, but you know what doesn't? Mexican food.

Here are some more reasons why Mexican food will always be better than boys:

1. It doesn't care how you look.

Mexican food does not care if your hair is messy, or if you haven't showered in 4 days. It loves you for you, and it loves being eaten by you.

2. It will always be there for you.

Near, far, wherever you are... I promise you there is a Mexican restaurant near you that either has $1 taco night, happy hour margs, and I PROMISE YOU there is someone within 5 miles of you that would be happy to accompany you (me, that person is ME).

3. It never talks back to you

No, food can't talk. But if Mexican food COULD talk, it would never talk back to you. And it would never insult you. It would compliment you and cherish you for YOU because you are a diamond.

4. Mexican food is NEVER disappointing

It will never leave you waiting for a date. It will never disappoint with taste or presentation... and guess what? Taco Bell is always around the corner. That boy isn't; he's with another side chick.

5. Did you know Taco Bell was voted the healthiest fast food restaurant? That boy is NOT healthy for you.

Yes, you heard me right. Taco Bell was recently voted the HEALTHIEST fast food chain available. Here is the link to read more about it.

They have included healthier options, a new dietician has also been added to the corporation, and ALL of their foods have cut down on sodium additives. And healthier eating = healthier mental health. Meaning that boy is not good for your mental health. CAN YOU SAY YO QUIERO TACO BELL?!

6. You make more friends eating Mexican food. You lose friends over that boy.

Who doesn't have Mexican and Marg night with the girls? Where you can go out, eat cheap food and have $2-3 margs, and be able to totally pig out and talk about their problems and gross girl stuff, like that awesome zit you popped last night. Don't act like you don't do it.

7. It'll comfort you no matter what.

No matter if you're crying over a sad animal video you just saw on Facebook, or just have an argument with Mom. That boy will say "OMG you are crying for no reason." Mexican food will never do that. Mexican food is always comforting. It'll always be there for you.

In conclusion, Mexican food is better than boys. It has always been better, it is better, and it will ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN BOYS. PERIOD.

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.

And despite her sometimes harsh words, April truly cares about the people she's closest to. These are all reasons she is the epitome of a college student. 11 Ways To Live The Best Life You Can

Life is full of twists and turns, but you have to keep going.

Life is all about twist and turns, sideways and which ways. Nothing is permanent, so we should take risks, and chase our dreams. We are taught at a young age many lessons that will follow us into adulthood. What we aren't taught is how to feel, and how we handle those emotions. We just have to figure them out ourselves, and that's not fun. In my 21 years of living, I have come to know that way too many people can't handle emotions, or the fact that not everyone is dead inside like them. When you're like me, and you have zero control over your emotions, it's hard to feel comfortable around people who aren't so in touch with themselves. As much as I would like to feel nothing at times, I've accepted who I am and the fact that I can cry over practically nothing. So, there are some things in life that you just have to do.
