1. Our youth program.

In my opinion we have one of the best youth programs in north Alabama! We also have a wonderful, amazing and Godly youth pastor I've ever seen!!! I love how we just don't come on Wednesday nights like a lot of churches out youth comes on Sunday mornings not just for Sunday school but also stays for big church right after and then they come back that night also! Our youth group has about a 100 of possibly even more and continues to grow.

2. Our college ministry.

We have one of the best college ministry programs. We call our college ministry Life because it is the beginning stages of adult life! We have a college right here in Florence called UNA or University of North Alabama and we have a lot of international students come from all over the world to UNA and we host a lot of them at our church.

Our church also cares so much about them that a lot of them are host homes to these internationals. That the beginning of every semester we try to do things to reach these new freshmen that don't know Jesus or doesn't have a church home. We meet every Wednesday at 8:30 but you can come early and hangout.

3. Our children ministry.

Our children ministry. Our children ministry is on firer! We have an amazing children's minister she is great with kids and parents both. We have kids stuff every Wednesday night and Sunday! We have a ton of programs for kids of all ages going from kindergarten to 6th grade I can't count on 1 hand what all we offer!!!! We also have great Sunday school teachers that actually spends time though out the week planning there lessons and not just on Saturday and our teachers care.

4. Our adult ministry.

We have a wonderful adult ministries; also, we have Sunday school classes. Everything from men's and women's classes to couples classes.

5. Our church staff.

I just can't say enough about our wonderful and amazing staff here at Underwood!!! I love our pastor and youth pastor they preach right from what God is saying they don't say what they won't to be what God wants them to say. They preaching has had a huge influence on my life and I'm sure a lot of other lives. Our children's minister is wonderful she had been there for me since I was a baby she has help me overcome my grandfathers death she even came all the way up to Nashville to check on us. They is so much more I could say but that about raps it up

6. Our Church Family.

Our members are all like family to everyone! We don't fight or be rude we pretty much get along and when someone is down we all pick him/her up and like I had had surgery the first of this year I think at least 30 of them ether came or called or texted me. There just amazing people!!!

7. Mission minded church.

This was one of the things that had kept me at my church!! We are a mission minded church!!! We go on more missions then I ever heard of I think we go on like 7 mission trips a year. Let's see if I can name some we go to Ukraine, Alaska, Texas, Guatemala, New Orleans and some more I just can't think of. And our church members are never afraid of going on a mission trip!

I hope that this may of inspired you to join a church family or even come visit with us. We would love to have you if that's the case, our service times are Sunday morning 9:00 - 10:20 a.m. and 10:20 - 11:30, though sometimes we go over. Sunday night 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday we have a supper at 5 cost is 5 dollars and services start at 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. and college ministry starts at 8:30 - 10:00 p.m. If you need anything else or more information go to our website.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
