Ahhh, Fall is quickly approaching; and we're stoked. So here's 10 reasons why fall is the best.

1) The weather.

Getting a break from the sizzling summer sun and settling into the cozy embrace that is fall. The crisp air & the bare earth make this season truly the best.

2) Fall = Football.

The gathering of friends and family to watch our favorite teams battle it out on the field is probably one of the most important during this season.

3) All things pumpkin spice.

Pumpkin spice is the ish... (FYI if you get the Starbucks app, you can totally get a PSL early this year. Guys, that is like so fetch!)

...even if you aren't a white girl. White girls aren't the only ones who love pumpkin spice, I swear. Its okay to admit it: pumpkin spice is the bomb.com. It truly is a drink for all to love!

4) The fashion.

Go on and pull out your boots, scarves, sweaters, and hats; it their time to shine!

5) Bonfires.

This is all.

6) Halloween.

Fall is the start of the most important holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. We get to dress up, go out, and be festive. Scary movies take their spotlight, and the candy exchanged.

7) Hot Chocolate.

Cuddling up with a fresh mug of hot coco on a cold day with a book and a snuggly blanket is, literally, life. Its the best feeling one could experience; don't try to fight me on this because you'll lose.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
