As we all know, fall has finally come upon us. We look around and see that nature begins changing around us and the temperature slowly starts to drop from those hot summer days. That is how we know that the best season is finally here. Here are just some of the reasons autumn is the best of the four seasons, according to pugs.

1. Time For Football

Everyone knows that as soon as it hits September, football season is in full effect. Whether you have fantasy football to get you going, you're watching your very own college team on a Saturday afternoon, or you're going tailgating every Sunday for your favorite NFL team, people love their football. It is the perfect way to bond with people over a particular team and day drink with your friends. It also gives the perfect excuse to say 'I'm watching the game' when you want a lazy day.

2. The Outdoors Become Beautiful

As soon as the leaves start changing, you almost fall in love with what you're surrounded by. Whether you are walking to class, going on a run in the park, or even driving to work, you really get to admire how beautiful nature can be.

3. Costumes Galore

Fall means Halloween. Basically giving you the one day of the year where it is perfectly acceptable to dress up as anything you want without being judged.

4. Cuddle Weather

The temperature starts getting colder as it hits autumn, which means it's finally time to once again start the obsession with 'Netflix and chill.' Although, I believe the best way to enjoy cuddling weather is by yourself. Surrounded by blankets. Watching a Netflix series for hours at a time.

5. Pumpkin Spiced Everything

Girls love fall because it finally means pumpkin flavored everything comes out into just about every store. I mean who doesn't love those Starbucks pumpkin-spiced lattes?

6. Sweater Weather Is Here

Girls go crazy when it finally comes the time to put on a big comfy sweater and their favorite pair of boots. The fall temperatures give people the perfect excuse to dress comfy while also looking somewhat presentable.

7. Thanksgiving

Although this day is supposed to be represent all the things that you are thankful for, most people celebrate it by eating as much food as humanly possible with your family and friends, taking a nap, and then doing it all over again when you wake up. Whether its shoveling as much mashed potatoes as possible into your mouth or trying every single pie there is on the kitchen table, there is no shame in stuffing yourself on Thanksgiving.

There you have it. Here are just seven of the many reasons why fall is the best of the four seasons. If my reasons for why autumn is the best didn't convince you, hopefully the adorable pugs did.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
