As warm weather approaches, there are many opportunities that open up as well. We are no longer confined in our rooms because of heat and don't have to freeze when walking to work or class in the morning. We are finally free to be happy and free in our warm months and here's what we have to look forward to.

1. Seasonal shops start to open up.

We all have those stores in any of our towns, whether it be an ice cream shop or another type of restaurant or store that has seasonal hours. Here's to the endless ice creams and happy days that come with our favorite stores coming back to life for the year.

2. Beach weather begins and there’s no doubt that we all like getting tan (especially if you’re lucky enough to live near a beach)

This one speaks for itself. With warm weather comes bonfires and long walks on the beach in nothing but a tank top. This goes out to tan skin and good memories!

3. No more being unbearably cold. Bring on the t-shirt and Norts weather!

Just like the last one, shining sun means warmer temperatures, so put away those Christmas sweaters and get excited to soak up those sun rays.

4. Holidays! With the rising temperature comes a ton of great holidays like Cinco de Mayo, Saint Patrick’s Day and Easter!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am more than ready to paint some Easter eggs, cook some food and spend some time with good friends!

5. Scenery

We all love the blooming flowers and color that comes along with springtime and the overexcited people, too.

6. Outdoors

Not to mention, it opens up lots of great outdoor activities like paddle boarding and kayaking or maybe riding a seahorse... who knows, life is full of possibilities.

7. Summer is coming

And last but not least, it means that everyone’s favorite season is right around the corner: summer! So let's throw out our school work and make room for the beach towels and sunglasses because summer is right around the corner.
