In one of the recent iPhone updates there has been a new feature added known as Siri Suggestions. This feature shows the contacts that you call or text the most. Now, with this new little gadget I've come to realize (like most of you probably have) that my mom is always in my top four suggestions.
But then it got me thinking ... where's my dad? It made wonder why I don't call him as much ... and if I do, what do I usually call him about? So here are a few reasons why you might call the most awesomest man in your life.
1. To find mom.
“Where’s mom?”
"Can you put her on the phone?"
“When will she be back?”
“Can you tell her to call me?”
2. To ask questions about your car.
“How do you change a tire?”
“What do I do if my car is making a noise that sounds like nails in a blender?”
“How much does an oil change cost?”
“On a scale of 1-10, how mad would you be if I crashed into the back of a Honda?”
“Can you spare some gas money?”
“Who do I call if someone hit me? Do I call the cops?”
“What even is our insurance company?”
“How do I jump-start a car?”
3. When you need directions.
“Which way would be faster?”
“Wait, am I turning right off Maple Street or left?”
“Do I take exit 14 or exit 17?”
"What happens if I go through an E-ZPass lane without an E-ZPass?"
"What if there's no place to do a U-turn?"
“Should there be a river on the right side?”
“What if I went down a one way street?”
4. When something breaks.
“My laptop may or may not be broken … what do I do?”
“Duct tape can fix it right?”
“What do I do if the toilet won’t flush?”
“How do I fix my phone screen?”
“Can you buy me a new one?”
“Is breaking a window bad luck? Or just a mirror?”
5. When you're trying to be an adult.
“How do I write a résumé?”
“How do I register to vote?”
“Do you know how to file taxes?”
“How should I shake hands at an interview?”
“How do I apply for a credit card?”
“Should I see a doctor?”
“What’s a lease?”
“How do I pay my loans?”
6. When you have questions about boys.
“Why do they leave the toilet seat up?”
“What should I get him for Christmas?”
“Why do boys suck?”
“Were you like this at your age?”
“Do you want to meet him?”
7. To be reminded how much he loves you and remind him how much you love him.
“Can you talk to me while I’m walking alone back to my dorm?”
“Do you love me or [insert sibling] more?”
“Would you be mad if I dropped out of school and became a stripper?”
“You know how much I love you, right?”
