Dating my best friend wound up being one of the best decisions I've ever made. Best friends make amazing boyfriends, and being friends before dating makes a huge difference in your relationship. Here are some reasons why dating your best friend can be a genius idea.

1. He knows you more than you know yourself.

Dating your best friend is awesome because you don't have that awkward first stage of dating where you get to know each other. He already knows you hate spaghetti, you're clumsy and you have a huge heart. Conversations just flow out of both you – no awkward silences.

2. He's the best at comforting you.

He already knows how to cheer you up after a rough day. Best friends always comfort each other, and this doesn't change when you start dating. He always knows what to say to make you laugh and cheer you up.

3. Inside jokes.

The inside jokes only get funnier from here on out. Along with that, you make even more along the way. Laughing is something you two already do a lot of and you can expect more!

4. He already knows your birthday.

He already knows your birthday and will have your anniversary memorized. This is so important because it takes boys forever to remember important dates, and he already has one down!

5. His family already likes you.

You've been around for a while now and his family already knows who you are. It comes as no surprise to them you two are now dating. You even probably got a few "finally's" from family members.

6. You're already comfortable around each other.

There are no filters when it comes to you two. Burping in front of each other is expected, you don't have to wear makeup around him and neither of you have a problem telling the other they need to shower.

7. You never have a boring time together.

You don't need a fancy date to have a good time together. Sitting in your pajamas, eating pizza is one of your favorite past times. You still play COD together and race each other to the elevator after class. It's impossible to bored around each other.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
