You know them and you love them.

"And where you lead, I will follow. Anywhere that you tell me to. If you need, you need me to be with you. I will follow where you lead." If you read these lyrics and instantly thought of "Gilmore Girls", we can be instant best friends right! (Slightly creepy?...maybe) It is a classic, a show we all know and love (if not, that's a darn shame). Without further ado, here are my reactions, as told by the Gilmore girls:

1. What? Who?

I am not one to love stupid, blunt humor. Rather, I enjoy the quick one liners of the fast paced conversations; this show has plenty! Sometimes there are name drops of people in their scripts of people I have no clue who they are. They are probably classic names of actors/actresses, but I usually shrug it off and continue watching the show. I'm sure if I knew who they were spewing off about, it would enhance the story line even more! Eh, oh well.

2. OMG! There's like 20 seasons!

I remember watching this show every day after school on ABC Family! It was the highlight of my day. Even though I have seen a lot of the episodes, I had not seen them in order. When I finally decided to re-watch "Gilmore Girls", I was stoked to see 7 seasons plus to hear the new series that came out in November. You have to love a long TV show, so you aren't always searching to find a new one every week...or day (oops).

3. Lorelai will you be my mother?

Lorelai Gilmore is pretty much the coolest person ever! She has such an unique relationship with Rory (her daughter), even when they have been through so much together. Lorelai always seems to have it together and when she doesn't, she gets back up and tries again! Who wouldn't want pop-tarts and ice-cream for breakfast every morning? Coffee, anyone?

4. When will Luke and Lorelai finally get together?

You could feel the tension from the beginning! I mean look! You can just see it from the beginning! If you don't, you might be blind or slightly unromantic. Throughout the seasons, Luke and Lorelai have a back and forth thing going on. My gosh Luke! Kiss her already! (I won't spoil this any further!)

5. Melissa McCarthy, we knew you and loved you first!

Her role as Sookie St. James was her first well-known role as a TV/Movie actress! Of course, she has blown up since then and now is a big star. With every reason and recognition! She is an amazing actress and is hilarious in her movies. In "Gilmore Girls", she has a more innocent/gullible role! Still love her no matter what!

6. Paris Geller, you are my spirit animal!

There are times we loathe her, but most of the time we love her. She is competitive, blunt, snarky, a perfectionist, a little socially awkward, but underneath it all she is a genuine person (believe it or not). At first, she is rivals with Rory, but soon becomes a best friend. They always have an interesting relationship; it is so real! I can't imagine this show without her!

7. It's over already?

You feel like you grew up with Rory and went through it all with Lorelai and the Gilmore family, and before you know it the episodes end. It is such a sad day...and then you realize that there is a whole other series! 10 years later, they make a comeback and it is the greatest thing ever! It's a different feel, but in the same breath it is a semisweet ending. There has to be more! I'm not okay with the ending!

Hopefully, I didn't spoil too much for you! If you haven't watched "Gilmore Girls" you have to! I'm not kidding! It is a sweet, genuine, clever show. You will not be wasting your life away (okay...well maybe that's a lie), but it will at least be worth it! "Gilmore Girls" forever. Hearts, hearts, and hearts!

The 5 Painfully True Stages Of Camping Out At The Library

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

As this semester wraps up, students can’t help but be stressed about finals. After all, our GPAs depends on these grades! What student isn’t worrying about their finals right now? It’s “goodbye social life, hello library” time from now until the end of finals week.

1. Finals are weeks away, I’m sure I’ll be ready for them when they come.
