College students are starting to enter that time of the year where everything is happening all at once for us. We have finals to study for, summer plans to finalize whether that be internships, jobs, or summer school, and good-byes that we have to say to all our friends we won't see until the start of the next semester. It can all start to add up and the stress can take a toll on us. Keep reading if you need an extra dose of positivity while navigating this busy time!

1. Grateful for where I'm at, and excited about where I am going.

Think about all the possibilities that the future holds (just avoid the stressful kind of thinking that leads to the 'I have no idea what's happening'). Think about all the things that get you excited for the next few years of your life. Take a break and day dream a little - just come back to reality and study hard with all your new motivation!

2. Do less with more focus.

Right you a list of all the things you need to do before the end of the semester. Go over it and cross off anything that isn't dire. We often tell ourselves that we need to get more things than we actually have to do. Get rid of the little things on the list... thinking about them only adds stress.

3. Start today with a grateful heart.

Remind yourself of all the blessings you have in your life to day. If it helps... make a list of five or so things. Remember that your education is a gift, you have people who love you, and you have the potential to do great things.

4. Surround yourself with people who make you hungry for life.

It's going to be a lot harder to focus on the positive if you are surrounded by others who are complaining. Instead, surround yourself people who will encourage you to put your best effort forward when studying for your finals.

5. Every day might not be good, but there is something good in every day.

Some days are hard this time of year. There are not enough hours in a day to do everything that you want to do. Studying seems to takeover every second of your free time and it is hard balance eating, sleeping, studying, and socializing with your friends. Find that little bit of good that happened to you today and focus on that!

6. I love the smell of possibility in the morning.

Wake up. Grab your coffee. And have a great rest of your day. Start your day off the best way you know how and make the rest of your day even better than your morning.

7. Be someone who makes other people look forward to tomorrow.

Be a source of positive energy for those in your life. Encourage your friends to do their best. Be there for them when they have their 'finals breakdown' and they will be there for you when you have yours. Teamwork makes the dream work.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
