A new month means new content added and new seasons added to Netflix. With the start of school, everyone seems to be looking for a new show to watch instead of doing homework.
While you should still do your homework, here are seven shows to watch on Netflix instead of being productive.
1. "Ozarks"
Season two just came out this month, and let me tell you, I am pumped. "Ozarks" stars Jason Bateman who, with his family, moves to a tourist town to launder money for a drug cartel. The show tells the thrilling tale of what seemed like a normal upper-middle-class white family, who really are anything but normal.
2. "American Horror Story"
Mark your calendars: "Cult" will be on Netflix on September 18th. The "American Horror Story" series is the perfect choice to binge TV. Rewatch older seasons and remember the characters you loved and hated. Then, be sure to watch, or rewatch, "Cult".
3. "Cupcake & Dino: General Services"
Maybe after seven seasons of "American Horror Story", you're a little creeped out. The perfect cure: "Cupcake & Dino". These cute cartoon characters perform general tasks around town while getting into their mess of trouble. Let "Cupcake & Dino" restore your faith in humanity.
4. "Total Drama Island"
Remember when "Total Drama Island" first aired on Cartoon Network? It seemed like a show that would probably only last a season, but then, there were more and more. Then, a seemingly plotless show had a plot! Fall back in love with these ridiculous characters from your childhood and binge all five seasons.
5. "Queer Eye"
Whether you're a part of the small percentage of people that haven't seen this show, or you're a sane person, you can always watch "Queer Eye". While you do, be sure to cry over the genuine love these five men give to complete strangers and to even imagine who you would want to nominate.
6. "Dark Tourist"
David Farrier travels around the world to some of the darker tourist attractions. Lots of these places seem a bit macabre, some dangerous, but the show lets you live vicariously through him. You can share whatever new and old knowledge you've acquired, and make the rest of your friends seem silly for not knowing about abandoned islands off the coast of Japan.
7. "Mindhunter"
The show is set in the 70's and the beginning of the serial killer profile. The story follows two FBI agents as they solve crimes and interview convicted serial killers, like Edmund Kemp, to try and begin the process of serial killer profiling.
