Put down Hamilton, push pause on Dear Evan Hanson, and turn off High School Musical 1, 2 and 3. We all know the classic soundtrack that blows up, catching us by surprise with its clever lyrics and catchy beats. But what about the other guys? The forgotten soundtracks that don't first pop into someone's mind to listen to? Sure, most of them had their hey-day, but whatever happened to those tracks? That forgotten, under-appreciated genius. Well, its spring cleaning and we found these under your bed, hiding in the dust bunnies, here they are...

Welcome to the 7 Most Genius, Under-Appreciated Soundtracks You Forgot.

1. Into The Woods

For this soundtrack, I tend to favor the movie version because James Corden, Meryl Streep, Chris Pine, Anna Kendrick, and Emily Blunt tickle my fancy. But honestly the prologue song is so compelling, how could you not love it? Not to mention the comic relief.

2. The Last Five Years

Jeremy Jordan gets me every time. Although this storyline could be seen as a bit sad and depressing, the lyrics and the rhythm are nothing short of catchy, melodic genius.

3. Mamma Mia

Mamma Mia is so easily forgotten but with a soundtrack so lively and fun it makes you wonder how you even dare listen to anything else.

4. Tuck Everlasting

I don't understand how this show never made it long on Broadway because I think it is honestly one of the most heartwarming and amazing soundtracks I have ever heard. A classic take on a great book. Phenomenal. 10/10.

5. In The Heights

This show was popular, but with the rise of Hamilton and Dear Evan Hanson, this show has kinda hit the back burner. That is not to say that this soundtrack is anything less than hot though!

6. The Hunchback of Notre Dame

I always forget this soundtrack exists, which actually is a great thing because its almost like I get to rediscover its beauty all over again.

7. Dogfight

Derek Klena as a marine. Silky tenor and a beautiful face. What more can I say?

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
