Binging TV shows on Netflix has become a rampant trend. It seems more and more people are ditching commercial-infested cable and switching over to Netflix, where they can watch marathons of their favorite TV series for countless, uninterrupted hours. Whether it's long weekends, snow breaks, sick days, or you're just stuck at home with no plans, Netflix binging has become the new go-to when you need something to burn up all of your free time. Besides, who needs to be productive when you can spend three straight hours catching up on the latest season of your favorite series?

With that being said, I will share with you my personal "7 Most Binge-Worthy Netflix Shows".

7. Arrow

Usually comic book/superhero-based TV shows can be kinda cheesy, and honestly, this show is no exception. HOWEVER, somehow this show still makes it work. I don't know if its because of the intricate storyline, the likable characters, or if it's because I have a thing for blondes and main character Oliver Queen happens to be an exceptionally attractive one, but I just really enjoyed this show. Cheesiness and all.

6. The Vampire Diaries

I refrained from starting this series for the longest time because I didn't want to be a participant in all the hype about "vampires" and "forbidden love", but alas, I started The Vampire Diaries when I was stuck in my house for two weeks because of snow and... BOOM. I was hooked. This show very soon became my guilty pleasure. I expected to hate it but I ended up loving it. This is one of the top shows that have made me cry the most and get emotionally attached to the characters the most. Actually, I plan to re-watch this series soon.

5. Lost

This was actually the first TV show I ever binged on Netflix. Let me tell you, this show is an experience. You cannot consider yourself a true TV show binger until you've seen Lost. It has everything: action, drama, romance, comedy, plot twists (and I mean HUGE plot twists), mystery, suspense. You learn to adore each and every character for very different reasons, and it isn't difficult at all to become emotionally invested in their journey as a whole. Seriously, just watch Lost.

4. Friends

Okay, who doesn't love Friends?! This show is episode after episode of gut-busting laughter. Follow this close-knit gang as they navigate through their twenties, all trying to figure out everything from their careers to their love lives. There is one thing they've all got figured out pretty well, though, and that's friendship. I never get tired of this show, and I usually go back and visit episodes at random whenever I'm in need of cheering up or de-stressting.

3. Supernatural

Ah, Supernatural. I can't really say enough about this show. It's got horror, dry humor, drama, and suspense. This show, like its predecessors, has characters that you can't help but love. Even some of the villains end up growing on you after a while. I think the greatest thing about this show is that the two main characters, Sam and Dean Winchester, share such a close and touching brotherly bond. What makes it even better is that the two actors who play Sam and Dean are very close friends in the real world, almost as if they really were brothers. They spend holidays together and everything.

2. Jane The Virgin

Words cannot describe how much I absolutely adore this show! It is ridiculously cheesy and corny (in the best way), and it is hilarious. The characters are not only likable, they are addictive (except for maybe Luisa. She can be annoying). Heck, you'll even get attached to the show's adorable narrator, and you never even see his face. Jane is by far my favorite TV show star. Her character is so down-to-earth, so moralistic, but still so fun-loving. The actress that portrays her, Gina Rodriquez, is a rockstar and a phenomenal role model for young women. This show will bring you joy, no doubt.

1. Grey's Anatomy

Yes, I am absolutely on the Grey's Anatomy bandwagon, and I can tell you right now I have never been more proud to be so mainstream. I love this show so much that, within the span of one year, I watched all twelve seasons all the way through TWICE—and it hit me in the feels just as hard the second time around. Each plot twist is monumental, and after one season ends with a bang, you think to yourself, "there's no way it could get worse than this", and then BAM. Next season finale, you're in a bigger puddle of tears than you were the last time. Grey's Anatomy is not just a show. Grey's Anatomy is life. And it will wreck your life, I promise. But you'll love every second of it.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
