Monsters, Inc. has the best idea of humans and monsters being scared of each other. It's almost like people who are afraid of scary movies—and those who love scary movies, but wouldn't want to face them in real life. Either way, it can be funny to see how people react to horror films, and how they go about it afterwards. So here are seven reactions to how people act and look like during a scary movie with Monsters, Inc.
1. When your friend or family member talks you into watching a horror film with them.
It's sad, but a little funny, when the person hasn't even started watching the movie yet, and they are already scared of it. If they seem really REALLY scared as it begins, I recommend that you do not make them watch it and do something else instead. (just from experience)
2. While watching the movie they will react like-
They'll jump, hide, scream, squirm, and shake, and be careful if they faint! We don't want our friends and family members dying of a heart attack now, do we?
3. During the film someone or something will scare you.
For example: I was watching One Missed Call with an old friend, and the phone went off right when a phone was going off in the movie itself. A coincidence? I think not!
4. When your friend or family member asks you if you want to watch the sequel or another scary movie.
Especially if a person hasn't seen a scary movie before, give them a good two weeks to a month time period until they watch their second one, just so they can re-adjust their fear status of the world.
5. The movie is over; it's dark, and you finally realize that you can't go to bed now.
I don't know about you, but after I watching a scary film, especially at night, I can't go to sleep right away. One can't simply go to bed until they scope the house, lock all doors to the outside world, and then maybe they can sleep.
6. When you try to go to bed, and you have a feeling that something is behind you.
When you're creeped out, it's as if your ears and your other senses turned up the dial, and you notice things that you haven't before. It keeps you paranoid, and you're always looking to see what is around you. Worst feeling ever.
7. Finally being able to sleep at the first crack of dawn and being in a peaceful stage.
At night, the scary things come out, but during the day, everything is safe. So once a person hears a bird chirping in the early morning, it's almost like a confirmation that it's safe for the person to sleep. However, never watch a scary film during a school night, for that poor sleepy person may only get five minutes to an hour's worth of sleep (maybe more if they're lucky).
What did you think? Was it pretty accurate? Hopefully, this reminded you of your first scary movie or of someone you watched one with. It has for me (in both situations too)! Keep calm, and my the scary movies be ever in your favor.
