7 Little Things That He Does That Are Big Things

1. Has a nickname Between Us, and Us only

Whether it be “my girl,” “ace,” “baby” or a rendition of the word “puppy.” We like it when he calls us and only us somethin' between, lets just say you and me. There is nothing like having a keepsake name that you know only from the mouth of your lover.

2. Shares His Food

Sometimes I don’t think I am hungry so I don’t order. Then he gets his food and I realized the epic mistake I made. When he lets me take bites of his quesadilla meal or burger, I know. I know he is somethin’ special.

3. Touching Our Leg

However odd this may sound I just want you to touch my damn thigh. I don’t care if we are out at dinner or in the car. The thing is he should probably always have your hands somewhere on my body and when you do, homegirl is a happy girl. I would prefer you always holding my long bronzed legs that are sure to be wrapped around you when we go home.

4. Remembers

The thing is, the most intimate thing someone can do for you is listen. They listen to what you say and what is unsaid. There is only so much that we can say that we need or want. The rest is for him to catch on to, for him to remember. When he remembers a stand out date in my life, the name of my great gran or even how I like my coffee (black) it says more than he could have ever said with words.

5. Brings Me Coffee

Probably the sexiest way I see a guy is with a coffee in his hands. Let’s just say panty-dropper. Hollaaaa, I luh the way you hold that mug baby. I especially know this shit is next level when he shows up at my job with coffee. Let’s just say I will request a 30 minute break so I can properly thank you.

6. Uses the word Beautiful

There is nothing like being called beautiful. Guys can call me hot, gorgeous and cute all day long and I will be flattered, but not moved. When he is the type that calls you beautiful, that guy, baby girl is the one that sees you. He sees you for the beauty that shines from the inside, out. This is the guy that you roll over next to in the bed realizing that you drooled all over his black sheets, you both just smile at the eye boogers and kiss through the morning breath. That is the guy that says you are beautiful.

7. Makes sure We are Comfortable

I am the type of girl that is comfortable in most situations. I think I have been around a variety of people enough to the point where I connect with individuals from most walks of life. With that being said the the best is when a guy brings me into a new scene and still insures that I am good and set with drinks, food and good conversation. Not only that, but when a guy changes the thermostat in his house because you are freezin' your nonexistent balls off is always a good sign of a keeper.

No matter what our guy does or doesn’t do, it never hurts to remind him of the little things that he does that are actually big things in our eyes.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
