If you're a procrastinator, just super busy, or totally forgot Christmas was right around the corner, here are some gift ideas that don't completely give away that you forgot to get your friend/spouse/roommate a gift this season.

1. A popsocket.

These can be found at popsockets.com or on Amazon. These are becoming such a neat thing and are only $10.00. Does it get better than that? Maybe, but you can't pass up a $10 gift.

2. Snoozies.

May seem incredibly lame, but they also become one of the best things that will ever happen to you. Only $12.99.

3. Starbucks cups.

If you're a college student this can be a basic necessity. (And may I add, they're having a 40% off sale on their website right now. You're welcome)

4. iPhone cases.

This one in particular has LED selfie lighting. If someone you know is all about the selfies this is probably their go-to gift. This one is $12.99; however, you can get a more quality, top-notch, selfie lighted phone case for up to $63. Depends on how poor you are, I guess.

5. Bath and Body Works 3-wick candles.

A girl's best friend. Also currently on sale for $15.50. Sorry if you live in a dorm, either be responsible and pass on the candle or live life on the edge and hide it from your RA while also avoiding setting anything else on fire.

6. Sriracha To-Go.

The gift getter must like hot sauce. Like, a lot. However, if they don't like hot sauce, why are you their friend? Can be found at Urban Outfitters and Amazon. Prices vary from $8-$12.

7. A mini set from Sephora.

Preferably this Tarte highlight and contour set for only $23.99. You can't go wrong with some quality makeup, unless they don't wear makeup. Then stick to the hot-sauce.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
