7 Inexpensive Double Date Ideas

Going out with another couple can make for a really great night, but repeating the same cliché dinner and drinks date can get boring and add up fast. Instead, of blowing money on the same snacks at your favorite spot, try some creative double date ideas that won’t break the bank.

These summer date ideas are affordable, interactive, and fun! So, if you want to switch things up, be sure to try one of the double date ideas below.

1.Karaoke

Meet your friends at your favorite spot for a fun karaoke night. There’s typically no cover to get in and cheap drinks and bar food to keep your energy up on stage.

2. Host a BBQ cookout

Invite over another couple and fire up the grill on a cool summer night for a casual double date. Put on your favorite playlist and chill on the patio or by the pool with cold drinks and burgers.

3. Bowling

Do you and your friends have a competitive edge? Break into two teams and play a few fun frames of bowing.

4. Outdoor concert

Outdoor concert tickets are typically cheap and also make for a great double date! Lay out on a blanket, bring some snacks, and enjoy some great music with friends.

5. Go to an amusement park

Amusement park tickets won’t break the bank and roller coasters and ice cream make for a full day of fun in the sun.

6. Have a picnic at the park

A sunny summer day is the perfect opportunity to meet up with another couple and relax at a public park. Bring blankets, pack up some snacks, and relax with a cold bottle of wine.

7. Beach day

Take advantage of the summer weather and spend a day at the beach with another couple! You can lay out on the beach for a few hours, play games on the boardwalk, and indulge in some ice cream.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
