1. The Sky Pond and Lake of Glass

Located in Rocky Mountain Park, these sites are located after a 9 mile walk (yikes), but the crystal waters and beautiful peaks make it well worth it.

2. Bishop's Castle

Construction was started on this two acre lot in the San Isabel National Forest in 1972, and it may be the largest one-man building project in the world. Known as the local Colorado fairytale.

3. The Manitou Springs Incline

A vertical mile staircase in Manitou Springs is a flight of stairs worth taking all the way to the top.

4. Forsythe Canyon

Located in Boulder, this is a 2.2 mile hike that contains a beautiful waterfall (Forsythe Falls).

5. Colorado Gators and Reptile Park

Yes, there is a park in Colorado where you can wrestle an alligator.

6. Booth Falls

Located in Vail, this hidden gem includes a killer hike and gorgeous views.

7. St. Mary's Glacier

The view here changes throughout the seasons, from the mile long rocky path hike in the summer, to skiing down the glacial front in the winter.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
