1. Mugs.
In college, coffee becomes more of a necessity than a luxury. Whether your gift recipient prefers coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or something else, you can't go wrong with a mug. Even if they only end up drinking water out of it, mugs are an affordable way to get your friends a gift that captures their personality.
2. Pizza Garden.
This gift is one that your gift recipients probably never realized they need. I would rather not think about how many times I've eaten pizza in the last month, but I know many other college students can relate. The icing on the cake would be the ability to grow all the ingredients for my own pizza. Now, you can help your friends regret their dietary decisions, too!
3. T-shirts.
There is a website that exists full of T-shirts that are only $6 (and it is appropriately named 6dollarshirts.com). The site has tons of witty T-shirts and you're sure to find the perfect one for every friend. They have everything from movie and TV related shirts, to music and Internet meme shirts.
4. Clinique Mini Face Mask set.
Everyone has a friend that enjoys pampering themselves every once in a while. We probably all know a beauty junkie or two as well. This gift is perfect for both. You can't go wrong with Clinique, and you definitely can't go wrong with the price.
5. Mason jars.
When you're on a budget, you can't go wrong with putting things in mason jars. Sure it sounds silly, but sometimes it is the simple gifts that mean the most. You can usually buy half a dozen to a dozen mason jars (depending on the size) for about $10. You can then buy your friend's favorite candy or snack and fill a few up for them to keep by their bed for late nights. An even cheaper, but more sentimental option is to fill a mason jar with pieces of paper with your favorite memories with that friend or your favorite songs together (or songs that remind you of them).
6. Socks.
Sure, socks don't sound like the most exciting gift, but they can definitely be personal (and funny) gifts. There are so many places that have cheap socks with random things on them, it's only a matter of a little scrolling to find the perfect pair for your friends
7. DIY dinner.
Nothing says, "I'm thinking of you" or "I love spending time with you" like a gift that requires you to be together. If you spend $10 on groceries to make a dinner and wrap them up with a note saying "I know you love nachos, let's make them some time" you can guarantee that they will feel special. All it takes is a bag of chips, a can of refried beans, an avocado, some salsa, and cheese or whatever the ingredients to their favorite meal are.
