If you're like me at all, you're not a fan of the party scene. You're accustomed to staying in on Friday and Saturday nights, watching episode after episode on Netflix. However, just because you don't party doesn't mean you can't have fun! Here's a list of 7 party-alternatives you can fill your weekends with.
1. Get Artsy
One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to paint my favorite Bible verses on canvas. Not only is it fun, it's also a stress reliever. Is painting not your thing? Get online and look up cool DIYs you and your friends can try out!
2. Have a Spa Night
Have a spa party with your friends. Paint nails, do facials, and throw it back to sleepovers from your childhood with a nostalgic playlist!
3. Get in the Kitchen
Have a sweet tooth? Bake some brownies or a cake! Craving a late-night snack? Make some kale chips. Whatever you end up making, you can be sure that it'll brighten up your Friday night.
4. Go out on the Town
There are SO MANY things to do around town, once you take a little time to research. You can find everything from cute little coffee shops, to movie theaters, to bowling alleys, to paint-your-own pottery places. Dress up with some friends and adventure around your local area!
5. Break out the Board Games
If you don't have any board games laying around, ask around. Someone will have some! Grab some snacks, invite some friends over, and start playing. Time flies when you're having fun with board games!
6. Hit up the Gym
Most gyms on campuses are open Friday and Saturday nights- and usually empty. This is the perfect time to grab your favorite machine, turn your favorite song on, and workout. Not wanting to work out alone? Pull up a yoga or dance fitness video online, and have a workout party with some friends.
7. Turn on your Favorite Movie
You can create some of your best memories having movie nights in college. Tell your friends to wear their pajamas, bring blankets, pop some popcorn, and turn on a movie. Boom. Such an easy way to have a fabulous night.
