The first day of summer has already passed, but who cares. It is not too late to get that summer body. However, even if you are comfortable in your body, you should still do these exercises anyway. They are meant to strengthen as well as tone your muscles, increase your heart rate and minimize the chances of developing cardiovascular disease.

Here is a list of simple movements you can do to burn some calories throughout the day.

1. Triceps dips.

You can do these anywhere. If you are at home and you've been sitting for an hour, get up and assume the position.

2. Push-ups.

There are no excuses for this one. You can even start with the modified version. Instead of being on your toes, drop the weight down to your knees.

3. Squats.

This movement works out some of the largest group of muscles in the human body. This means more calories burned.

4. Jumping jacks.

Throw some cardio in there to warm up your entire body.

5. Hugs.

With the right person, this one is really comforting to do.

6. Applause.

This movement is also referred to as clapping. It can sometimes be loud and aggressive, while other times it is soft and quiet. It is pretty effective when it comes to warming up your palms, but it also shows your support.

7. Smiling.

This one is definitely the simplest and easiest form of exercise out of this list. Give it a try at your own risk.

For an effective workout you are going to need at least one buddy. Approach your buddy using step seven, greet them with step five, then do steps four, three, one and two together in that order. Complete the workout with step six, and if you guys are really close you guys can do step five again. This is just one variation. Approach this however you wish.

Get on it!

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
