Ah, math class. One second everything makes sense and the next, you're scrambling to find your way out of a labyrinth. Who needs these crazy formulas and diagrams anyway? No matter which math class you're in, we've all felt these emotions at one point or another.
1. Boredom
The teacher starts rambling about something you learned two days ago and writing some formulas that you can't see anyway. No one else is paying attention either anyway, so why not take a quick nap, right?
2. Confusion
Your eyes jolt open, and you realize that you blanked out for the last 20 minutes of the lecture. Where are you? Why are all these crazy symbols looking back at your with their mocking eyes? When is the next quiz?
3. Overwhelming Panic
"To ask or not to ask?" you contemplate, still groggy from that nap, and that's when your teacher calls on you.
4. Frustration
"Uhhh...." you stutter in front of the class, feeling everyone's eyes on you and hearing a few giggles. "How come everyone understands this except me?!"
5. Bitterness
"Why is everyone smarter than me?! Just stop." You can't possibly be the only one who doesn't understand this, right?
6. Regret
You question why you ever even signed up to take this class anyway. Why did you ever think Calculus at 8 a.m. was a good idea? If there's one thing you know for sure, it's that math + mornings ≠happy you.
7. And finally, the Lightbulb Moment!
You stare at the problem for too long and finally, everything clicks! You breathe a sigh of relief and realize that you get to do it all over again the next day.
