As Told By Jennifer Lawrence

Oh how quickly five months before move in quickly turned into just five days. These next few days will be filled with a whirlwind of emotions as we start to realize that we are actually leaving for our new home soon. A few months ago the idea of moving into our college dorm was just something that we knew was going to happen eventually, but it wasn't really relevant since it was still a long ways away. Well, class of 2020 it is officially here, and I know we are going to kill it at our new homes. Thinking about this next adventure is both terrifying and wonderful at the same time, and I never thought was possible to feel both emotions so intensely at once. Now that we are just a few days away from this new adventure, this is how us class of 2020ers is feeling inside, as explained by Jennifer Lawrence gifs...

1. Excited.

This one is pretty obvious because in reality, what incoming freshmen in college isn't excited to move into their new home? We've been waiting for this moment for four years!

2. Nervous.

The idea of college, at times, can sound very intimidating and scary because it's a completely new situation that none of us are used to yet. It's extremely nerve-wrecking when we begin to think about the new social and academic situations we will face.

3. Sad.

Honestly, it's absolutely heartbreaking when we think about leaving our friends, family, fur babies, and our hometowns in just a few short days. Everything we are absolutely familiar with won't be joining us in just a few days. It's going to be important to remember that we won't be gone forever and home will always be waiting for us. Thank goodness for facetime to see your lovely parent's faces (and for them to put the phone to your fur baby's beautiful face).

4. Anxious.

What if I'm a bad roommate? What if my hall mates don't like me? What if I get lost going to my classes? What if I don't find my passion(s)? What if I nobody wants to be my friend? Is it weird to eat by myself? How am I going to memorize the names of all these buildings?

The amount of what ifs that us incoming freshmen can think of is ridiculously long, but completely understandable.

5. Stressed.

We've already done so much to get ready to leave for college, so then why does it seem like we still have so much to do?! You didn't realize you've packed and accumulated that much stuff until you try to fit it into your car like a tetris game. Now that's stressful.

6. Cool.

It's actually official...you are a college student!!! You're not going back to high school, you're heading off to college, which c'mon, it just sounds cooler.

7. Motivated.

In a week you'll be settled into your new home for, hopefully, at least the next four years. Despite your nerves and immense amount of what ifs, you're ready and motivated for this new adventure. You're motivated to tackle your first college courses, experience new social settings, and meet your life-long friends. Most importantly, you're ready to just "do you," you finally get to figure out your hobbies and interests, accomplish attainable goals, and learn what you want to do with your life!

Class of 2020, who is ready to tackle this upcoming school year with me?!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
