Colorado is a very popular place. With more and more people and companies flocking to Colorado each year, long-time Colorado relatives have felt and noticed the changes that come with increased development. That being said, there are some things about Colorado that will always remain true.
1. The Rockies will always sell tickets.
Win or lose, rain or shine, people will always go to Rockies games. There is something addicting about spending the evening at Coors Field with the mountain backdrop enjoying a Helton burger. While the Rockies haven't had the most successful past few years statistically, they sure have sold tickets regardless. With the addition of the rooftop bars, Coors Field will always be a Colorado favorite destination.
2. No weather will deter people from going outside.
Coloradans find outdoor activities to do in every single type of weather. There is hardly a day that is too hot or cold, rainy or snowy, to keep Coloradans indoors. Sometimes Coloradans don't take safety into account, but they will always be outdoors.
3. You can count on rain (almost) every afternoon in the summer.
If it doesn't thunderstorm on a summer afternoon, something feels off in Colorado. Around four every day, you can look to the Colorado sky and see angry storm clouds ready to erupt. Don't fret, the daily storms don't last long.
4. I-25 traffic will always suck.
It seems that no matter the time of day you will always hit traffic on I-25. At least while you wait you can enjoy the mountain view!
5. Casa Bonita will always be the best dinner with a show.
Okay, maybe not the best dinner. But the cliff divers and waterfalls will always make the best family night out in Colorado.
6. You'd see basically any concert at Red Rocks.
Even if it was a band I've never heard of, I would go to their concert at Red Rocks. The amphitheater's natural beauty and open air setting provides the best concert experience there is. It doesn't matter who is playing, a Red Rocks concert is an out-of-this-world experience.
7. Sunsets are prettiest in Colorado.
There is something about watching the fiery orange sun dip below the mountains every evening that makes Colorado home.
