As soon as Halloween is over and November 1st hits, it seems like everyone breaks out their festive pajamas and starts blasting a Mariah Carey Christmas album. A lot of people are so excited about the holiday seasons that they forget that there is actually a holiday in between Halloween and Christmas called Thanksgiving or maybe they just don’t care because as soon as October is over it’s automatically time for lawn Santa’s and hot chocolate. Here are a few thing’s people do in the month of November when they’re just too darn excited for Christmas time.
Decorate for Christmas.
I’ve seen way to many Christmas decorations out already and its only November. Thanksgiving is a major holiday were are all the turkey adornments and fall leave décor. Disney World is very well-known for this, they change out their Halloween decorations for Christmas ones over night.
Listen to Christmas music.
Christmas music might just be the best thing about the holiday season so I understand why this happens so quickly I mean Justin Bieber’s Christmas album, I could listen to that all year round not just around Christmas.
Watch Christmas movies.
The infamous box labeled X-Mas movies gets brought in from the garage and you dig through all the classic Christmas movies you’ve missed since last November. Nothing like cooking a turkey on Thanksgiving day while “Christmas Vacation” plays in the background.
Start Christmas shopping/make your Christmas list.
We all love Christmas gifts so why not start jotting down a few things you’d like this year. I mean you’re probably already behind on your shopping too with it being the second week in November.
Wear festive clothing.
You can finally put on your favorite pair of fuzzy gingerbread socks and not feel weird about it or get made fun of when you wear them in the middle of July.
Get Starbucks for the Christmas cups.
Would it even be Christmas without a cup of you favorite latte inside a festive Starbucks red cup? No.
Bake Christmas goodies.
We can’t help it, Christmas cookies are just so good!
Don't feel bad it if you are someone who does Chistmas things in November. We all do it.
