The holidays are quickly approaching, and it’s time to make your last-minute purchases. If you’re at a loss for what to buy your bestie now that you’re adults and it’s not as easy to just pop into Claire’s or the candy store, here are seven ideas for mature and meaningful gifts:
1. A book
A cookbook, facetious self-help book, inspiring non-fiction, or captivating novel are all perfect options. Write a sweet message on the inside cover for her to read in the years to come.
2. Tea and coffee
Pick up her favorite kind of tea or coffee, put it in a mug with a bow on top, and pair it with a tea diffuser or coffee press.
3. Bath elements
Get her a bathtub neck pillow, some salts and foamy bubble bath, and a little tray so she can have a snack, watch a movie, or read a book (maybe one you bought her?) while she relaxes.
4. Home accessories
A heavenly blanket and/or an adorable decorative pillow will be something she can constantly enjoy that will always remind her of you.
5. Something personal
Remember that hilarious inside joke, or that spontaneous weekend trip you took together? Buy something that encompasses the joke, make a scrapbook about the trip, or gather things from the trip and make a collage for her to hang up.
6. Music and movies
Buy her y'all's favorite movie to watch
7. Jewelry
When we were in middle school, it was all about those split-heart "best friend" charm necklaces. Now that you're older, buy her something just as sentimental but more mature.
