1. I'm going to hang out with people, and I'm going to explore myself, and I'm okay with that. -Selena Gomez

Selena said it best. Figuring out who we are should be the biggest priority. We have one life, and we should not spend our time trying to be who we're not; instead, we should take the time to just figure out who we already are.

2. Even as far back as when I started acting at 14, I know I've never considered failure. -Jennifer Lawrence

Although life may seem rough at times, failure should never be an option. Take it from one of the most inspirational actresses I've ever admired—Jennifer Lawrence. She is the perfect role model, especially for young women who are just trying to figure out who they are. She insists that we never settle for being someone we're not.

3. Sometimes the only way to discover who we are is by figuring out who we are not. -Nina Dobrev

If it's not obvious by now, I'm in this stage where I'm all about good vibes. I'm still figuring out who I am and who I want to be, but I've come this far by pretending to be someone else. Now I'm at the point where I love to embrace myself, imperfections and all.

4. You're damned if you're too thin and damned if you're too heavy. According to the press, I've been both. It's impossible to satisfy everyone, and I suggest we stop trying. -Jennifer Aniston

The moral here is that, no matter what, not everyone is going to like the way you look, and that's okay. So don't try to change the way you look to satisfy people who don't matter.

5. I'm so sick of saying the words "gay" and "lesbian." They're just people. One day, I want my son to come home from school and be like, "I found this guy, and I love him." And I'm gonna be like, "Yes, you do, and that's okay." -Josh Hutcherson

Lastly, one of my all-time favorite inspirational quotes: Josh Hutcherson on sexuality. No matter who we love, we are all just people, and love is love. Enough said.

6. It can be really challenging in today's world for anyone—especially girls and women—to feel good about their bodies. No matter how things look from the outside, we can all be super critical of ourselves. My job at those moments is to tell myself the truth. Am I taking care of myself in a healthy way? Am I respecting myself and being responsible? And over and over, I answer "yes" to that question. I remind myself to be kind to myself, and, as slightly ridiculous as it may sound, to treat myself in the same gentle way I'd want to treat a daughter." -Emma Stone

I wish I had words to explain how I feel about this, but I don't. But I'm clapping my hands with glee at the last bit: "...same gentle way I'd treat a daughter." Ladies and gentleman—EMMA STONE.

7. If I can prevent one person today from having the wrong friends, from cutting for the first time, to embarking on a horrible, long journey with an eating disorder....If I could just change one life by this message, by saying "Don't go there," then I'm done." -Demi Lovato

There it is. Demi has been there. A lot of us have been there. It's really eye-opening to know that someone as beautiful and strong as Demi has been there too.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Syllabus Week As Told By Kourtney Kardashian

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
