7 Books That You HAVE To Read This Year
Natalie Davis

I would not call myself an avid reader, I think I would barely call myself a reader. But these books are must reads of 2017. They will help you start your year off right and help you get you through the tough times. They are all engaging stories, books that call you to live in a new way, or just an inspirational story. If you have any free time or looking for a new book to read check these out!

1. Love Does by Bob Goff

I'm sure that you can probably tell by now, but I am Bob's #1 fan. This book is inspiring people everywhere to live life to its fullest and to love people the way Jesus loved His friends. Bob knows all the right words to pull at your heart strings and make you want to jump up and love others well!

2. The Mingling of Souls by Matt Chandler

Whether you are dating, married, recently broken up, or single this book is for you! Matt talks about what a Christ centered relationships should look like and what relationships were intended for. It talks about every stage of a relationship; the good, bad, and ugly.

3. Present over Perfect by Shauna Niequist

This book is here to remind us that achievement and success does not bring us contentment. From Shauna we learn how to live a rich, engaged, and loving life in the midst of what often feels so messy and imperfect. It is a way of living full of grace, space, and connection.

4. Uninvited by Lysa TerKeurst

Lysa shares her own personal experiences with rejection and loneliness. With biblical depth, raw vulnerability, and hilarious humor, the book wants to teach you to stop feeling left out because we are always hand picked my Christ, among so many other things.

5. The Great Divorce by C.S Lewis

This is my current read, and Lewis is known for his amazing theological workings into fictional stories. This allegory is a reflection of the Christian conceptions of Heaven and Hell. It is a great quick read!

6. Jesus is by Judah Smith

In each chapter Judah dives into the character of Jesus for better understanding of who this friend of us is. This book is for New believers, lifelong followers, and for the Merely curious type. There is so much more to Jesus than we perceive. Check this book out to find out!

7. Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gains

This book reveals the hardships that Chip and Joanna faced before they became the "Fixer Upper Family" It answers the question of "Who are these people?" "What is their secret to success?" And "Is Chip really that goofy?" Chip and Joanna have been inspiring people and renovating homes in such an inviting and engaging way.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
