I know how it feels when it feels like your life is falling apart and that there is nothing that seems to go right. I know how hard it is to wake up some mornings and handle the same issues again and again. You are fighting with all you've got, but you are lacking hope that everything will eventually be O.K. You may feel like you are alone and fighting a war with yourself. Well, God knows how you feel and He is with you. Even if you have never accepted Him as your Savior, He is watching over you and cheering you on. Here's seven bible verses that might open your eyes to a new form of hope, Christ's grace.

1.“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)

The love you have for yourself might not be there anymore, but God loves you and will always love you. He's always planning new ways to love you and bless you. You should trust Him and thank Him for a brand new day.

2.“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)

In the bible, it talks about the comfort that the Lord's grace will give. No matter how broken your heart is, God will comfort you and restore the brokenness with His never ending love.

3. “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:37-39)

These are some of the most encouraging and comforting verses in the bible. It means that even when we let go of God and tell Him we don't need Him, He is never going to let go. The point is, He loves everybody, even if they do not love Him back. We will never be able to love anybody or be loved by anybody more. Because of His love for you, you will not suffer forever. There is hope in His hands, and nothing can separate us from His love.

4. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

Here's the facts: nobody is going to be able to heal your broken heart. You have to heal your own. You can choose to do that by yourself, or with God by your side. But there is nothing else in this world that can heal and bring us as much strength as Him.

5. “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4)

Imagine God sitting with you the next time you are sitting and crying alone. Imagine him hugging you and patting your back, telling you to not fear. God is constantly watching over us and if you let Him, He will be with you in those times of pain.

6."Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later." (Romans 8:18)

You might feel as if you cannot bear this pain any longer, but there will be something greater than it soon. God will provide his glory, which out weighs suffering always.

7."For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him." (Philippians 1:28-30)

Suffering indeeds strengthens us. Christ want us to represent Him and rely on Him through it all.

No matter what it is that is tearing you apart, the Lord loves you so much and wants you to trust His word and come to Him. Find comfort in somebody who decided to create you in the midst of creating every beautiful aspect of the world. Your suffering won't last forever, and you are absolutely never alone.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
