Davenport is home to some pretty great places to eat. You can find a variety of different kinds f food in Davenport. There are many places I still need to try, but here are a few of my favorites that I have found so far while living in Davenport!

1. Front Street Brewery

208 E River Dr, Davenport, IA 52801

This place is located right on the Mississippi River. They also have an adorable outside patio. This brewery has awesome burgers and sandwiches, and their wings are delicious. According to their website, Front Street Brewery is the oldest brew pub in Iowa.

2. Exotic Thai

2303 E 53rd St, Davenport, IA 52807

I had never had Thai food before coming here, but heard great things. I ended up loving this place. Their Pad Thai was to die for. They also have really delicious spring rolls. They also make really good teas and lemonades. This place is perfect if you are looking to try something different.

3. Barrel House

211 E 2nd St, Davenport, IA 52801

Barrel House is one of my favorite places in the Quad Cities. There are a few different locations, but my favorite is the Davenport location on 2nd Street. Located in Downtown Davenport, Barrel House serves delicious burgers and sandwiches. They have awesome appetizers and have great specials too.

4. Sippi's American Grill and Craft Beer

406 W 2nd St, Davenport, IA 52801

Sippi's is another great restaurant located in Downtown Davenport. As the name hints, it is a classic American Grill. They have an awesome outside patio that is perfect on a nice day. They also have really good burgers, fries, and onion rings.

5. Azteca

4811 #3 Walnut Center, N Brady St


Azteca has really good Mexican food. You can find the best tacos, guacamole, fajitas, and chips and salsa here!

6. Woodfire Grill

131 W 2nd St #105, Davenport, IA 52801


Woodfire Grill is a sophisticated and higher end restaurant located in Downtown Davenport. Their steaks and scallops are awesome and the restaurant has a really nice setting.

7. Filling Station

305 E 35th St, Davenport, IA 5280

Filling Station is an American gas station-themed restaurant. It is a great place for families. It is a fun place with good old American burgers and fries and anything else fried that you could imagine.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
