Atlanta is one of the biggest cities in the South so of course it has some of the best food. Here are some restaurants that you might want to check out if you are living in the area or just visiting!

1. Murphy's

Located in one of Atlanta’s most charming neighborhoods, the Virginia Highlands, Murphy’s serves American contemporary comfort food. They offer some of Atlanta’s best weekend brunch along with lunch and dinner daily. They have a large menu with daily specials. Don’t know what to get? Their seared scallops are amazing, and their classic Murphy’s burger is excellent!

2. Barcelona

This tapas restaurant nestled in the Westside Ironworks offers plenty of Spanish, South American and Mediterranean inspired food. It is also a great restaurant to go with friends and family to share many different foods with.

3. Le Bilboquet

Le Bilboquet brings the vibrant atmosphere that is comparable to a Parisian cafe and has brought life to the surrounding retail development. They offer classic French cafe specialties, such as la croque madame or le steak frites. If you’re ever in the mood for a filling French meal or brisk brunch, Le Bilboquet is the place.

4. Sweet Melissa's

Located right outside of ATL in Decatur, Sweet Melissa's is a charming family-owned restaurant perfect for breakfast or brunch. If you are wondering what to get, some of the best options are the omelets or the yogurt pancakes.

5. Chops Lobster Bar

More on the pricey end of the spectrum, Chops Lobster Bar is a great place for a birthday dinner or other special event. All of the seafood is exquisite.

6. Umi

Located in Buckhead, Umi is a Japanese style restaurant with exceptional sushi and even has some hot dishes for those who might not like sushi.

7. South City Kitchen

Located in Midtown near Piedmont Park, South City Kitchen Kitchen takes a new spin on traditional southern cuisine. Some of the best options on the menu are the pulled pork and the fried chicken.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
