Cheesy? Maybe. Still adorable? Yes!
1. When he drove her and her sparkly bike home
This may not seem like a big deal, all he did was give her a ride. But he went out of his way to drive her home, he did not have to offer her a ride in the first place.
At this point in the movie, Lara Jean and Peter barely knew each other which makes the gesture even kinder.
Plus, he drives an awesome jeep which just deepens our jealousy!
2. He makes her watch Fight Club with him
While making their contract about their fake relationship, Lara Jean adds that he has to watch "Sixteen Candles" with her and she has to watch "Fight Club" with him.
They both want the other to experience something they each like. This is a big sign that you care about someone, you want to share with them your experiences and likes.
3. When Peter spins her by her back pocket
By the gif above, you can see how cute this looks and the fact that this scene was unscripted is even cuter. This got everyone's eyes on them in the cafeteria which was their goal.
4. When Peter got jealous when Lara Jean was talking to Josh
After avoiding Josh for a while, Lara Jean connects with Josh again to ask for advice. When Peter sees them talking in the hallway, he immediately gets angry.
Out of jealousy, he tells Lara Jean he doesn't want her talking to Josh anymore. Peter may have overreacted but it shows he cares about Lara Jean and wants her all to himself.
5. When Peter revealed he really likes Lara Jean
After faking their relationship for weeks, Peter reveals that it's no longer about making Jen jealous, he really likes Lara Jean.
In the hot tub, he explains how he went all the way across town to get the smoothies that she likes to help convince her that he really cares for her.
6. When Peter fought for the relationship
It's normal to have fights with the people you love. But when that person doesn't give up on the relationship after the fight, it proves how much the relationship means to them.
Peter showed up to Lara Jean's house after their fight to clarify the situation and to tell her how important she is to him.
If you haven't seen this movie yet, you definitely need to. And I bet you will fall in love with Peter Kavinsky too!
