As the holiday season continues, it can often be hard not to get swept up in what is now the "season for giving." With commercials, advertising, and sales (bless those sales) the real point of the Holiday's often get forgotten — being thankful. Here are some thing's in our every day lives to be thankful for this year. (Note: In no particular order).
1. Netflix
Because what would we do without it? Actually GO to the store and rent a movie?!
2. Your parents.
Because even though we are getting older, they are too.
3. Fireplaces and hot chocolate.
4. Lazy afternoons.
5. Coffee.
6. Wine.
7. Best friends.
You finally get to see again after some time and pick up just as you left off as if no time has passed at all. (Ay ladies, #youknowwhoyouare)
8. Friendsgiving
It doesn't have to end just because thanksgiving is over. Who doesn't love a few extra days of any holiday?
9. Pillows. Blankets. Beds, oh my!
10. Weird traditions your family does each holiday.
Yeah, you might be embarrassed but you know it just wouldn't be the same without it.
11. Google.
12. Transportation.
Yeah, traffic sucks, and public transportation sucks, and waiting at the airport sucks, but they bring you to family or bring family to you. We could still be riding around on Horse & Buggies for all we know.
13. Holiday recipes passed down through the family for years.
14. Pints of ice cream.
15. Homemade pumpkin pie.
16. Your health.
Even when the latest winter cold has got you down. We are lucky our bodies are strong and healthy enough to repair themselves.
17. Nutella (duh).
18. Chocolate.
19. A good book.
Whether it's helped you escape for a few hours, or stayed with you for the rest of your life.
20. The coziest spot in your house.
Having a house in general.
21. Younger siblings you still get to protect, or older ones who will always protect you.
22. Pinterest. DIY. Because small budget + great pins = coolest gifts.
23. Puppies!
24. Delivery food, and delivery people.
25. Friendships, new and old.
26. Warm Apple cider.
27. Cocktails, in general.
28. The snooze button.
29. Sweatpants of all kinds.
30. Cheese plates. Macaroni and cheese. Grilled cheese. Cheese in general.
31. Caller I.D.
32. Laundry machines.
33. Snail mail
Because there will always be something so much more special about getting a letter than an email or text.
34. Family vacations. Even if they drive you crazy.
35. Your Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces, nephews, grandparents and the people who you choose to become part of your family.

38. Freshly cut flowers.
39. Headphones walking to class.
40. Vacation days. Mental Health Days. Every Day.
41. Fall leaves changing colors.
42. Early sunsets, because who doesn't love more of an excuse to get in bed sooner.
43. Uber.
44. Spellcheck.
45. Candles that make your home smell like home.
46. Your favorite movies you can watch again and again.
47. Songs that you listen to a million times.
48. iPhones. Smartphones. Phones in general.
49. Mugs that explain your life.
50. S’mores and campfires.
51. The Seasons.
52. Blanket forts. No matter how old you are.
53. When a song comes on that fits perfectly into what you needed at that exact moment.
