61 Classic Nickelodeon Moments That Remind Us Of A Simpler Time
ScreenRant

Nickelodeon brought us some of the greatest television classics of our childhood. From dancing crustaceans to 11-year-old boy geniuses, it saddens you to admit that Nickelodeon will simply never be the same as it once was. Luckily, we were able to experience the end of its riveting peak.

If you were an avid Nickelodeon watcher back in the day, chances are these 61 moments will bring you back to the simpler days of your younger years:

1. Long live these girls and their room.

2. *Emphasis on Debbie's iconic one-liner*

3. You don't know what this meant but it still became a part of your vocabulary.

4. You wanted the Mammal-O's cereal.

5. Amanda Bynes and Drake Bell in their prime.

6. "And the spider was all..."

7. When Moody described the teenage years all too well.

8. Let's not forget about the time her dad lost his toe.

9. You developed a new appreciation for this crustacean.

10. You think the "Know Your Stars" segment from "All That" was simply a classic.

11. "The Rugrats" exposed you to one of the scariest episodes of your childhood...

12. ...And also one of the saddest ones

13. You worried for Cynthia's safety and well-being.

14. Chuckie and Tommy were the ultimate BFF duo.

15. You still remember the legendary Reptar.

16. "All Grown Up" showed you that they really do grow up so fast.

17. PCA was your dream school.

18. This theme song was your jam.

19. You wanted a key like Zoey's.

20. And were strangely enthralled with how beautiful a urinal could look.

21. You may or may not have had a crush on Dustin.

22. "Hi, I'm Stacy and I collect cotton swabs."

23. It angered you that Logan could admit his love for Quinn faster than Chase ever could for Zoey.

24. You fell for Randy Klein's lightly tousled hair and innocent brown eyes.

25. But a part of you will always love the bad boy that is Jake Behari.

26. Overall, you think "Unfabulous" deserved way more hype than it received.

27. But it wasn't nearly as underrated as the gem that is "As Told By Ginger."

28. When Otto, Squid, Reggie, and Twister were the coolest islanders you knew.

29. "Woogie woogie woogie"

30. Jimmy's brain blasts were simply epic.

31. Carl Wheezer was/still is your spirit animal.

32. You remember this Egyptian episode where Libby bared a striking resemblance to Queen Hasabataslapya.

33. "Hi, I'm Paul."

34. Never forget this crossover episode.

35. Or the surprisingly sentimental "Channel Chasers" episode.

36. When Trixie explained the way to a woman's heart in less than 10 words.

37. When people ask you how you know things.

38. The single cause of all of life's unfortunate mishaps.

39. You never knew how attractive a cartoon could be prior to encountering Chip Skylark and his shiny teeth.

40. You also may have noticed that he has a somewhat similar resemblance to Danny Phantom.

41. This pepper = not a force to be reckoned with.

42. When Oprah was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

43. When in doubt, you know who's to blame.

44. When Drake helped Josh practice breaking up with his girlfriend.

45. When this delivery guy just wasn't having it.

46. You still remember cartoons like "My Life As A Teenage Robot."

47. And "Chalk Zone."

48. Let's not forget about the smashing Nigel Thornberry and his family.

49. You thought Arnold's untucked shirt was a skirt.

50. "Doug" was your childhood.

51. So was "Cat Dog."

52. "Avatar the Last Airbender" may be one of your favorite cartoons of all time.

54. Ned Bigby prepared you for the real world as much as he prepared you for middle school.

55. You found Coconut Head's luscious, perfect hair oddly satisfying to look at.

56. The old Spongebob will ALWAYS be better than the new Spongebob.

57. Watching shows like "Full House" and "Fresh Prince" on "Nick at Nite."

60. The old logo > the current logo.

61. Knowing the Nickelodeon will simply just never be the same after having experienced these phenomena.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
